1. Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care

A minimum of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care is required. This qualification equips you with the skills needed to care for and educate young children in a safe, nurturing environment.

2. First Aid & CPR Certification

Current First Aid & CPR certification is essential, along with specific training in asthma and anaphylaxis management to ensure the health and safety of the children in your care.

3. Working with Children Clearance

To protect children, all educators must have a valid Working with Children clearance. This helps ensure that you meet the necessary background checks to work with minors.

4. Public Liability Insurance

As a Family Day Care Educator, you will need to maintain public liability insurance to ensure both you and the children in your care are protected.
